In 1999 I was able to quit my "day career" and have since been able to work as an artist full-time. For 16 years, I lived and worked at our Bunbury property on Salt Spring Island. It was an idyllic setting with an ocean view, a large garden and a beautiful studio. I now work in my new studio at Clarence House Bunbury in Victoria.
I do not have a formal fine arts degree but make no claim to being self-taught, having learned from generous mentors and colleagues. I also spend several weeks a year in Europe and have been exposed to the best of European art, both historical and contemporary.
My work has been purchased by private collectors across N. America and in Europe and Australia and is part of several public collections, including that of the Burnaby Art Gallery, St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation in Vancouver and Vancouver General Hospital Foundation.
