WELCOME

I work out of Bunbury Studio at our property, Bunbury, on Salt Spring Island, B.C.   It is an idyllic setting.

Once a year, we have an open house at the studio and in our home.  This is an opportunity to see old friends and new and display my most recent work, both sculptural and paintings.  The work is mainly for sale and, fortunately, I have been able to sell most of what I make in this way.  

I just had a very successful show of my work at Artspring, the community art centre and theatre in Ganges on Salt Spring Island.  The exhibition  was from June 1-30th, 2009 and can be seen in the 'TUSCAN HARVEST'  gallery on this site.    Many of the paintings sold and I was happy to get a positive review in the local paper.  In addition, a photo of one of my paintings from the show is being used as the cover image for Artspring's 2009/10 season brochure. 

My recent exhibition was inspired by my trips to Italy in autumn of the past two years with my dear friend and erstwhile mentor, Jamie Evrard.  She is a brilliant painter.  I am returning to Tuscany in late August and look forward to what comes next.
